the General National Security Directorate for Mauritania (DGSN), the national police, and a former head of Mauritania’s Direction de la Sureté Territoriale (DST), the leading civilian national security service. Mr. Adda has held numerous senior executive positions in the Mauritanian security services, focused on highly sensitive national security issues.
