Prior to joining Serval Group, Mr. Benza worked for PACT and was primarily responsible for structuring and developing the business of PACT Group in the fishing and mining sector.

Mr. Benza has also created multiple successful companies and he helped mining companies securing mining licenses in Mauritania and Mali.

Mr. Benza holds a Master in Technology from Mercer University.

Mr. Sean T. Long has nearly 30 years and over $30+ billion worth of development, construction, financing, and management experience in energy infrastructure industries, including Solar PV generations facilities, wind generation facilities, integrated fuel to power solutions and other vertically integrated power to downstream industrial facilities.
Sean founded and is former Director and Chief Executive Officer of Endeavor Energy Holdings LLC. Sean led Endeavor Energy to become a leading power development and generation company dedicated to acquiring and developing power generation facilities in Africa. Since its founding in 2013, Sean led Endeavor’s growth from 4 employees and no assets to within a little over five years over $1.1 billion of power generation and related assets with over $3.9 billion, ~2,250MW of power generation projects under development.
Prior to Endeavor, Sean was special advisor to the CEO of BioTherm Energy, a renewable power company focused on Africa. Sean help BioTherm Energy transition to a renewable energy company and was instrumental in BioTherm being awarded 3 renewable power purchase agreements ( 1 wind and 2 solar projects) with the Government of South Africa in the first round of one of the most onerous bid processes developed. All three assets achieved financial close within the required time period and are generating energy in South Africa today.
Sean has conducted business in most corners of the world including in the United States, Asia, Africa and elsewhere. Sean is former Senior Vice President and led Enron Corp’s business activities in Africa, a Fortune 10 company at the time and leading one of Enron’s most successful transactions. Sean has served on various private company boards and executive management committees, including that of Endeavor and all its various subsidiaries. Sean also sits on the board of the Business Council for International Understanding, a not-for-profit group designed to improved business relationships between US companies doing business outside of the United States, as well as, the President’s Council for the Lutheran Immigration and Refugee Service, a not-for-profit group focused on assisting refugees with successful resettlement in the United States. Sean also served on Wake Forest University’s PAC which is a committee designed to help Wake Forest raise capital for and improve its athletic program.
Sean served in the United States Army as a Captain and is also a graduate of Jungle Warfare and Airborne schools. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (with a specialty computer architecture) from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1987 and later earned his Juris Doctorate from Columbia University School of Law in 1993. Mr. Long is admitted to the Bar of the State of New York since 1993.
